Giving long-term, appreciated securities may provide greater benefits to you and SEAPC:

Income Tax and Capital Gains Tax
· You may lower the “cost” of your gift.

Value of the Gift: The value of the gift will be the closing price on the date of the gift. You will receive written confirmation of the value and date of your gift within two weeks upon receipt of transfer.
